A 21-year-old minibus conductor of Sion Hill will be sentenced on Nov. 17 for stealing a cell phone belonging to the Unity Labour Party’s East Kingstown office.
Adonis Williams pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a charge that on May 16, 2025, he stole a blue Samsung Galaxy A15 cellular phone, valued at EC$799, the property of the ULP’s East Kingstown office.
He pleaded guilty before Senior Magistrate Tammika Mc Kenzie at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court.
The matter was adjourned to Nov. 17 for facts and sentencing.
Williams was granted EC$2,950 bail with one surety and ordered to report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Thursdays.
He was also ordered not to leave the country without the permission of the court.
