One person has reportedly died, and another was rushed to the hospital following a shooting in the Level Garden area moments ago.
Police are currently on the scene investigating the incident.
If the death is confirmed, this would mark the 29th homicide in St. Vincent and the Grenadines this year, compared to a record 55 homicides last year.
This latest incident comes just days after six people were injured in a shooting on Paul’s Avenue as they socialized on the anniversary of a mass shooting that claimed five lives on July 19, 2023.
