The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard recovered the body of an adult male found floating off the coast of Owia on Tuesday morning.
Local fishermen made the discovery about 300 metres from the shoreline. The body, dressed only in long trousers and bare from the waist up, had not yet been identified at the time of this report.
At the time of publication, the identity of the deceased had not yet been confirmed, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Updates are expected as more information becomes available.
