The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force has activated an urgent manhunt as officers intensify investigations into a serious case involving attempted murder and kidnapping. The appeal was issued today as detectives continue to follow leads, urging members of the public to assist in locating two persons of interest believed to be connected to the ongoing probe.
Law enforcement officials say efforts are actively underway as police seek Carrisa “Shemika” Neverson, of South Rivers, and Jamal McMaster, who remains at large.
Neverson is wanted for questioning in relation to the kidnapping investigation. Meanwhile, McMaster is being sought as part of the same wider inquiry and is also wanted in connection with attempted murder. Police have issued a strong warning that McMaster is considered armed and extremely dangerous, cautioning citizens not to approach him under any circumstances. Officers instead encourage anyone who sees him or has knowledge of his movements to make immediate contact with police.
The RSVGPF has placed emphasis on community cooperation, noting that previous major investigations have benefited from public assistance. With the current case still developing, authorities say every piece of information — no matter how small — could make a significant difference. They also reminded the public to share official alerts responsibly, avoid speculation, and refrain from confronting the individuals themselves.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carrisa “Shemika” Neverson or Jamal McMaster is asked to contact Police Control at 457-1211, the CID at 456-1810, the Colonarie Police Station at 784-458-6250, or dial the emergency numbers 999/911. Police assure that all reports will be treated with strict confidentiality.
