A man known locally as “Bagga” was found dead at his residence on Cemetery Street, Layou on Tuesday morning, according to sources familiar with the incident.
The man was reportedly discovered at approximately 8:00 a.m. after neighbours found him near the porch area of his home. Emergency assistance was sought, but he was later confirmed dead at the scene.
A medical professional who attended the scene reportedly determined that Bagga had suffered a serious injury to the head. Sources within the community stated that he appeared to have sustained a stab wound to the head; however, the official cause and circumstances surrounding his death are expected to be confirmed by authorities.
